Hello all! I am fortunate to be a part of this International Media Studies program, where I'll visit the cities and countries listed at left. I fully expect this globalized experience to be unforgettable, life altering, culturally alluring, and all that European jazz. But more importantly, I just can't freaking wait to bust outta this country and finally see if my attempts at mimicking accents has proved fruitful. Alright alright I joke, (though I am certainly going to give the accent challenge a go, and who knows maybe i'll video tape the experience;) But for realzies, by living in the Boulder bubble for the majority of my semi-young life, I most definitely feel like I've missing out on something grand. Hopefully this trip will allow me to be repeatedly culture shocked and rocked and simply cannot wait for it all to begin... Alex Muench May 12th 2011
Update! so I unfortunately didn't videotape the accents but I most certainly grew in terms of learning and appreciating different countries, cultures, and how they all relate to one another. It was a trip I'll never forget, but just in case, this site should help me bring all those European memories back.
